In this episode of the iCantCU Podcast, I talk about missing the first in-person Philly Meetup for the Blind event post lockdown at a British-style pub I love in Philadelphia. I also talk about some retail/customer service problems I’ve encountered recently and how it reminds me of the things my dad taught me at an early age.

Working With My Dad When I Was A Kid

The only good thing to come out of the astonishingly bad customer service from BJ’s Wholesale club are the fond memories I have of my dad and working in his supermarkets in the summer when I was a kid. I would go into work with him in the morning and work until we went to lunch. Then he’d drop me at home and go back to the store. I was around 10 years old.

Stories About Your Dad

This is my ninth Father’s Day without him, so the memories are all I have now. I’d love to hear stories about you and your dad. Reach out on social media:
