In this episode of the iCantCU Podcast, I talk about finding some typos on an event page and the text exchange I had with one of the visually impaired event creators. By not fixing the errors and saying it was done by a blind person, she is perpetuating the low expectations humanity has for the blind and visually impaired.

No Swearing On The Podcast… Yet

I came across an article that talked about the correlation of swearing and how good you feel. The more you curse, the less pain you feel. It made me think that I haven’t cursed on an episode, even though my language can get pretty salty when I’m not recording. Here’s the article: https://www.the-sun.com/health/4979848/swearing-eases-pain-like-pills/

White Canes Connect Podcast

Listen to another podcast that I cohost and produce called White Canes Connect. In episode 027, we interview Jimmy Boehm from Kustom Cane (https://www.kustomcane.com) and You Cane Give (https://www.youcanegive.org). He has an incredible story on how he lost his sight.
